I am a modern day Renaissance Woman. I am a make-up artist. A stylist. A photographer’s assistant. An event planner. A blogger for hire. A digital communications guru. Newsletter aficionado. Email queen. Social media professional.
I have the rare combination of a logically thinking mind with an intensive creative streak. Combine that with a bachelor’s degree in business and a background in Corporate America and you have me!
I have always had the reputation of being classy and chic. And I most definitely embody the budget side of things. I don’t believe that people should have to pay an exorbitant amount of money for quality work. With that being said, my concentration is on “real” people and businesses.
For my digital communication clients, that means the small business. Those just starting out. Those who have the passion, drive and enthusiasm from just starting out and perhaps a little bit of fear from just starting out. I like to get into the nitty-gritty of the business, to get swept up in the excitement of the owners, to see the progress made in the companies and know that I helped them get there.
For my make-up clients, that means working with “real” women. Those who have probably never had their make-up done professionally before in their entire life. The ones that when I’m done and hand them the mirror, they can’t believe that it’s really them staring back in the reflection. I also focus on “budding” photographers where my expertise and extensive experience can help take a good photo shoot and turn it into an absolutely phenomenal and stunning photo shoot.
My mission for my blog is to share everything I know-my stories, my experiences, my knowledge-with my readers to help them become that classy person they want to be without requiring an enormous bank account. I want to help others become classy on a budget. I want other companies to start being classy on a budget. Being classy is not something reserved only for the rich or famous.
Being classy is being self-confident, being kind and sympathetic to others, always doing the right thing for others AND for yourself in addition to looking and acting polished and put together.
This site will encompass all aspects of being classy on a budget including interacting with others, clothes & fashion, entertaining, food & cooking, career, interior design, social media etiquette and so much more. Anything and everything to help you live classy on a budget.
I hope you’ll join me in my journey, share in my experiences as well as share your experiences and ideas with me.
And remember…you don’t have to be rich to be classy!
